Scott McGeary grew up in the Harrisburg area, beginning his love for running and fitness while attending Central Dauphin East HS. He complete his undergraduate and graduate studies at Duquesne University while competing on the cross country and track teams, which further fueled his passion for running and the treatment of runners in healthcare. Since graduation in 2012, he has made it his personal mission to establish a community of healthcare providers devoted to efficient and excellent care of the runners while he continues to train and race competitively, himself. Aside from treating runners, he enjoys treating all athletes, as well as patients with low back/neck pain, and other general orthopedic injuries, evidenced by his completion of the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment curriculum.
The topics that will be discussed at the seminar include: learning the major mistakes people make while lifting weights, learning how to avoid increased shoulder pain with every day activities, and learning the best exercises to reduce shoulder pain and prevent shoulder pain.
